Inside Abbey Road: The Best Studio In The World

Come March next year, you could find yourself sitting in the famous Studio Two of Abbey Road listening to talks by Brian Kehew and Kevin Ryan, the authors of award-winning book Recording The Beatles, while bathing in the history and splendour that the studios possess.

The studios will be opening up to music enthusiasts, who want to gain an insight into the magic that occurs in the making of music and films. Rare photos and films will also be on show, as well as exhibitions of vintage recording equipment and invaluable information and secrets surrounding Abbey Road’s legendary status. The talks will also visit the studios’ history of scoring the soundtracks to some of the greatest movies of our time including Star Wars, Harry Potter and the latest James Bond film Skyfall.

Take a trip back to the age of the Fab Four, Pink Floyd right through to the modern day superstars of Oasis and Adele. Listen to the echoes of all of the major hits recorded between those very walls and enjoy an experience that really is something special. Tickets for the talks are £80 and will run twice a day, as follows:

Friday 8th March
